Company Overview
SB Equities is a privately-owned real estate investment entity headquartered in Beachwood, Ohio. William Sadataki and Robert Brehmer are the founding members, with Alec Pacella joining in 2008. SB Equities invests in commercial and industrial real estate and currently owns and manages 2.5 million square feet directly, while indirect ownership with related entities totals an additional 5 million square feet. The portfolio is presently located entirely in Ohio. However, the company is actively evaluating opportunities throughout the Midwest and South, in addition to its home state. The principals are members of an international brokerage network, NAI Global, which provides an established platform for investment, leasing, marketing and management in all of the major US markets as well as most secondary and tertiary markets.
Management
SB Equities is directed by an experienced group of real estate professionals that provide leasing, property management, asset management and construction expertise to the growing portfolio. In addition to the SB Equities portfolio, the management group also manages and leases third-party properties on behalf of outside ownership interests.
Investment Strategy
The primary acquisition focus is on value-added opportunities, such as properties that have in-place or upcoming vacancy, are in need of renovation or need to be repositioned in the marketplace. Another area of expertise is entire portfolio acquisitions for property owners exploring estate planning or succession strategies.
